So sorry to hear the sad news of the passing of Margaret Bell. I first met Margaret when I joined the Department way back in October, 1993 as a fresh-faced Lecturer straight out from a PhD. Margaret was always helpful, warm and friendly and helped me to settle in to university life. She continued to provide calm and effective administration throughout a period of great growth from very few staff and students to something more closely resembling what we have today. I wish her family peace and comfort at this sad time.
